The fact that this man is pumping his fist...

...means that we are now 0-2. I'm not sure what else our defense could have done. Tarvaris looked decent, Adrian Petersen was as spectacular as ever--I just don't know. (sigh)

I don't know, buddy. I don't know that I can take much more. I happened to turn on the TV and - joy of joys! - the game WAS on CBS. I didn't HAVE to watch the Packers on Fox.

But then, you start to watch, and you just get that feeling. Being a Vikings fan, you know what I mean. ("If I keep watching, they might lose and I'll go nuts. If I stop watching now, they MIGHT win, but I won't see any more potentially good plays from AP.") You start to put the pieces together. Hmmmm, five scoring drives, but only 15 points, which is really only two scoring drives, and if it's Peyton Manning, it only takes 5 minutes. What? There's an entire quarter left to play. Uh-oh.

I think the main reason I get so frustrated is that people are being paid hundreds of thousands, even millions, of dollars to come up with "Run straight up the middle on 1st and 10 from your 2-yard line with just under 2 minutes left to play. OK, that didn't do much, do it again."

You cannot be a good quarterback for long in the NFL if you are at your best rolling out. You need to be able to stay in the pocket and find an open receiver. TJ blew it tonight, and so did the Offensive (indeed) Coordinator.
