I'm almost done with the Vikings...

...I have been watching the Vikings and rooting for them for over 20 years, but I am almost through with them. I know some will call me a fair-weather fan, but I just can't do this anymore. It's hard to watch a good team who looks completely cursed. For the third week in a row, we lost a double-digit lead and lost the game. This is too much. If we lose another one of these, I'm switching allegiances. The only question is: which team will I support?

I sense a disturbance in the force. Become a Giant fan and experience what its like to win.

Tempting...but if I am going to change, it would probably be to Buffalo. They are fun, exciting, small-market, actually play in NY, etc. But, we'll see; I'm giving the Vikes another week to win me back. We play the hapless Chiefs this weekend; if they lose to them, it may be over! :)

Pastor - sorry about your Vikes. Gotta turn the clock back - Carl Eller, Jim Marshall, Alan Page, Chuck Foreman, Frank Tarkenton.....Purple People Eaters! Or even Sammy White, Ahmad Rashad, Chris Carter, Tommy Kramer. Maybe even Robert Smith, Daunte Culpepper, Randy Moss, John Randle......now THOSE were some good teams. Hang in there - it'll turn around!
