I turned the game on, and before I knew it, it was 21-0 us! By the time the dust settled and players were retreating to their respective locker rooms, we had won 35-14. I am beginning to get cautiously optimistic that this team isn't like all the other underachieving teams of years past.
But, lest I get too confident, word is just out that one of our star defensive tackles is out 2-6 weeks. He is our best run-stopper. And just in time: we are playing the #1 and #2 running teams in the league. Ugh. All we need is one win in the next two weeks to make the play-offs. Go, Vikings!
