New Blog Series

Wednesday, November 5th marked day #1 that I began praying for the new president-elect Barack Obama. The Bible says in I Timothy 2: "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior."
I have dedicated myself to praying for the new president (as I have done for the outgoing president) because 1) God tells me to, 2) all authority is given by God, and 3) there are some SERIOUS concerns I have with this new administration-to-be, so serious prayer is needed.
I am going to begin a new blog series on just what these concerns of mine are, and I hope that it will convince you to join me in praying.
