The Lakeland, Florida Revival

I want to find out what you think about what is going on down in Florida right now with Canadian Todd Bentley and the healing revival that is drawing up to 10,000 people a night from all over the world. They supposedly have several documented healings and they claim over 20 people associated with the revival have been raised from the dead! To the right of this column, I have put up a poll. Tell me what you think!

The Bible has warned God's people to try the spirit by The Word. 1 John 4:1 "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." God is not showy, when Christ walked the earth; He was about His Father's business which was draining in the spirit. Christ tried on many occasions to get away to get strength, to be alone, to replenish His spirit. It is not being taught/preached that if a healing does not take place, will you still worship God. Folks are flocking not because they believe in God, but they believe in man; therefore this tries to steal God's glory. Matthew 7(KJV)
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Today's revival should harvest souls to serve The Lord because this body cannot and will not make it into heaven. This is just like the ones who preach prosperity all the time. Where is the true message of Salvation through the shedding of Jesus' blood on the cross for the sins of each individual? What about if this body is not healed, where will my soul rest? What about "My grace is sufficient for thee? Heaven is real and Hell is eternal non-stop torment. The truth is not preached. Jesus Christ did not preach about signs and miracles, what Jesus preached about in eternal salvation. The world is looking for answers, the world is lost, and so they are going to grab at any and all things rather than seek God and answer the calling. It is truly praying time.
